The UC Berkeley Compensation Unit is in the process of developing a new job structure, in the form of job matrices, which will reflect UCB jobs that are more consistently defined across campus and will be sensitive to the external market.  
 
Job Family matrices will be available for employees and managers to access on-line.  These matrices will provide a summary of the major responsibilities of the job, as well as key knowledge, skills and abilities important for the role.  The Job Family matrices will also show possible career paths for jobs at the UC Berkeley campus.
